Heather Stennett
 

Heather has been a keen competitor and member of British Showjumping since the 80's and shares her time between her own horses, shows and running the livery yard at Stennett Equestrian.  Although she takes pride in the yard which has been transformed from a small arable farm to a well managed equestrian centre, showjumping is her first love.

Having been a very successful although local pony rider, the move to young riders proved exciting with results at the Horse of the Year Show on Idle Genius and a team gold medal on Lucky Kilkenny who was a very exciting young horse, later to be ridden by Franke Sloothaak and Jeroen Dubbeldam.

Heather has consistently been ranked in the top 200 riders list and made it into the top 100 in 2011, producing many young horses through to Grade A and enjoying championships and finals including those at HOYS, Scope, Hickstead and Wales.

Over the last five years, Heather has spread her wings by travelling to shows in Europe, enjoying much success in Spain, Portugal, France and Germany.  Competing at this level has also been a great further education.  For Heathers results from 2011, please look on the results page but below are a few interesting past successes...
